Excellent pub, food fantastic, staff and regulars make you feel very welcome, well worth a visit.

Stopped for a drink and evening meal. The staff were very friendly and polite. There was a wait for food but this was explained before we ordered (due to a party) Ordered a pasta dish which was very tasty and filling. The Roasted Nuts beer was particularly tasty and well recommended.
Limited choice but what was on the menus was excellent. Great value for money with mix96 voucher. Portions were very large especially deserts.
Really friendly staff. Very good Sunday roast. They keep their cellar well - the beer was good and good temperature. All round a lovely pub.
