Difficult to see the cross from the top. But the walk around the hill is great
I love this place. The view from the top of the hill above the cross, is just incredible. The walk through the beech woods is therapy for the soul. The scent of the trees and soil combine to make a magical concoction which enters your heart and mind and removes any feelings of stress from the hurley burley of everyday life. Standing above the cross you'll see red kites and kestrels gliding and hovering, surveying the scene alongside you. It is simply the best place on earth.
There's a car park nearby and some woods to stroll through and when you get to top the views are lovely.
