I very rarely write reviews but this company has earned it's name and reputation deservedly. A few months ago I persuaded my husband that if we were going to have a new bed and possibly a Hypnos bed, we should visit their showroom rather than look at a small selection of their beds in a department store. We are both 70 and both have osteoarthritis and I also have severe osteoporosis so I was perhaps more inclined to make the journey in the hope of getting it right. From the moment we arrived on a Saturday morning, we got fantastic help and attention. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and so we were able to try almost any mattress, extra firm, firm etc. on different bases to try and establish which suited us best. We were encouraged to spend as long as we felt necessary on each one to get a proper idea of each experience. We spent most of the day there! and amazingly, both of us liked the same bed best and best of all it was also the cheapest option.Cutting a long story short, we ended up with 3 new superking beds each with slightly different mattresses. This sounds mighty extravagant but given our existing beds ranged from 26-46 years old, it was high time and actually fantastically good value. Our adult children and friends are also delighted because they can now have a good nights sleep here. We chose a wool topped mattress for our bed and also wool pillows. My husband has snored all our married life, he has stopped almost completely! I never imagined that wool might do this. Apparently it has non allergic properties. We had tried everything from down to synthetics previously and nothing helped. They are extraordinarily comfortable (for us) and the combination of the pillows and the mattress now means that we are sleeping almost like babies again and are very much less stiff in the mornings. I didn't write this review immediately because it took us a while to get used to a very different sort of bed.If you are thinking of Hypnos and can make the time, do consider Princes Risborough because we think it was entirely due to their very nice and helpful staff that we learnt a lot and managed to make the right choice for us.Our beds were delivered by a company called New Era and, again, a faultless service. So helpful and considerate.

Bought expensive mattress in January. The mattress delivered us was so hard, and makes you unbearably hot. Advised their customer support and they didn't want to know. Really terrible customer service. The one in the shop was not this hard. We specifically ordered a mattress no memory foam so that it would not be hot. Don't buy from hypnos
Really pleasant team of sales people, knowledgeable, quick to help but also ready to let you lie around as much as you need. I went twice and the weekend - plenty of room to park and not too busy inside. I found it a really low pressure, customer focused environment.The slight disappointment - environmental - was that the supply chain of Hypnos is set up to ship from its warehouse in Manchester, so there was no environmental saving by buying locally.Delivery by Keen & Able was really easy start to finish -they kept in touch and gave a call about an hour before arriving which meant I didn't have to stay at home all day.
